We stumbled across this quaint little gem by accident, and it's 100% on my 'come back to' list! Everything is perfect, from the staff to the old meets new kind of decor'. Traditional seating with quirky touches everywhere you look.
The food, oh my, the food.
I had the scallop starter, followed by the 10oz steak and topped off with the brownie and vanilla bean ice cream. I was blown away with the priority to locally source, the culinary perfection... the amazing playing of the starter and main.

Extremely friendly atmosphere with gorgeous food. We had mussels and pork and they were both very good and served in generous portions. The staff is very helpful and other attendants were good fun to talk to.

a very nic country pub where the staff are very obliging. the food is great and reasonably priced. it is very cosy with an open fire for the winter months. there is a fine selection of beverags too.
